Somebody help me convince my dad to sell my '07 Aero Sportcombi so I can buy an '08 Turbo X with a manual and navigation, one of about 30 in the U.S. I found. This is something that needs to happen now.

for a Saabophile like me this is sex. I would give an arm and a leg to have it but my dang parents won't let me go out and sell my car (becuase I'm 16)

I kinda like it.
But I'm not a Saab person, I did have a Saab Convertible with a 2.0..Can't remember the model or whatever, but it was a fun little car.
It was called a classic or something..

Haven't seen those wheels before.

What year? And I'm pretty sure any car lover would like this. 280HP/295 ft-lbs with the Halodex adapted XWD system. Front to rear torque vectoring with rear side to side torque splitting, up to 85% of the power to one rear wheel. No it's not a 335ix but with only 600 in the US it is much more exclusive. Plus, there's just something about SAABs that SAAB people like, probably just because we're weird and nobody loves these things.

Oh what I would do for a SportCombi Turbo X..
Too bad they only go on the market once in a blue moon.

My Saab was a 96...maybe...idk it was a "beater" I got it cheap, kept it a week or two and sold it for profit after I fixed its issues.
And what engine is it? 2.0? if its the direct injection ecotec or anything like it....stayaway.

Turbo X exclusive. At first I didn't really like them but now they do it for me. They're an evolution of the old SPG wheels and I think they have been very well modernized.

Oh there was one for $12k for sale in Washington last year, but no matter how much begging and sucking up I did would my parents even consider it. Manual and everything....such a shame the U.S. is so dang big....

Ha no, 2.8l turbo. Same engine in my current Aero but turbo boost is up from 8.7 to 11.8. Stayed on Ward's top ten engines every year since it went into production in 2003 and dropped off the market in 2011. The torque is unreal, from 1,800 RPMs it pulls steady all the way to redline. Highway cruising is just awesome haha.

Sounds pretty sweet.
My car makes good torque, 400wft lbs at 2200 or so.
So yeah highway is fun xD

What do you drive? If I drive it properly and not like a total hoon I'm getting about 30 mpg highway, city...well that's another story....

Nah man. You need a viggen. Turbo Xs are cool, just not enough Saab. Viggens were real Saab's swan song. The last true Saab before GMtrification.

Yeah I know... An SPG would be a dream, but for modern SAABs there's nothing quite like the Turbo X. I love my Aero Sportcombi but there are things you can clearly tell GM put it's finger on....

WINDOw SWITCHES ON THE DOOR, GM?!

Haha so true, automatic down for the rear windows but no automatic up. Plus all the plastic for the cargo area rattles and shakes at speeds, but gosh it drives well. The Epsilam chasis was put to good use by Saab, they really brought the best out in that platform

Never liked 3 spoke rims, but the new ones look sweet.
